SEA ANCHOR TAIWAN 2018 KICKS OFF

In collaboration with IAPS / NCTU, SEA Anchor Taiwan kicked-off with a 2-day workshop and mentoring clinic sessions.

Over 20 startups took part in the first day workshop, followed by 1-to-1 mentoring sessions conducted with 10 selected start-ups on the second day.

The programme was conducted in the newest start-ups hub in Taipei, the Taiwan Tech Arena, which spans across 3,000 meter square of space. The 24-hour space houses over 100 startups and provided a very vibrant and conducive environment for the programme.

The participants had the privilege of being supported by a very dedicated team in NCTU and they had extensive interaction with the mentors from Accrete Innovation, SEA Anchor accelerator. The teams also had the opportunity to share, pitch and learn about the regional technology and market trend to be better prepared for global expansion.

The 2-day inaugural SEA Anchor Taiwan programme was a prelude to the extended cross-border Venture Accelerator programme to be conducted in 2019. Selected start-ups that eventually take part in the cross-border Venture Acceleration may receive investments or extended advisory from Accrete Innovation.
