Running in conjunction with Taiwan’s G Camp initiative, this year's SEA Anchor programme was nothing short of transformative. Unlike traditional accelerators, SEA Anchor is distinguished by its bespoke approach. The 2024 edition zeroed in on personalised guidance for each startup – from pre-trip consultations to hands-on business immersion – ensuring founders walked away with not just contacts, but clarity and confidence in their next strategic moves.

Over three dynamic days in Singapore, participating startups – including healthtech and generative AI innovators – engaged directly with key ecosystem players such as SGInnovate, AI Singapore, and the Economic Development Board (EDB). In an inspiring collaboration with our esteemed partner, the Hanyang Institute for Entrepreneurship, Accrete Innovation proudly hosted a dynamic gathering of South Korean startups in the vibrant heart of Singapore's startup hub. The Singapore Startup Ecosystem Introduction Programme, conducted in January, 2024,at our JTC Launchpad venue, was designed to orient participants to the thriving Singapore startup ecosystem and included a valuable pitching and mentor feedback segment.

This event showcased the enterprising spirit of six innovative startups from South Korea, each backed by the robust support of the Hanyang Institute for Entrepreneurship. Their presence in Singapore signifies the strong partnership between our institutions and our joint dedication to nurturing entrepreneurial talents across borders.

The programme kicked off with an informative introduction to the unique opportunities within Singapore's startup landscape, setting the stage for the diverse array of startups that followed. These six ambitious companies, each with a distinct vision, took the opportunity to present their business models and products to a keen audience:

Original Startups Collective and TechStorm forge strategic alliance via metaverse-centric partnership

Original Startups Collective (OSC) is a borderless metaverse startup launchpad founded by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs. Together with our partner N15-Partners, the SEA (Southeast Asia) Anchor program will consist of 6 weeks of mentoring and advisory in Korea followed by 6 weeks of market accessstrategy advisory and business matching in Singapore. Startups attending the program will also have the opportunity to meet investors and may receive investments by N15 and Accrete.
