In an inspiring collaboration with our esteemed partner, the Hanyang Institute for Entrepreneurship, Accrete Innovation proudly hosted a dynamic gathering of South Korean startups in the vibrant heart of Singapore's startup hub. The Singapore Startup Ecosystem Introduction Programme, conducted in January, 2024,at our JTC Launchpad venue, was designed to orient participants to the thriving Singapore startup ecosystem and included a valuable pitching and mentor feedback segment.

This event showcased the enterprising spirit of six innovative startups from South Korea, each backed by the robust support of the Hanyang Institute for Entrepreneurship. Their presence in Singapore signifies the strong partnership between our institutions and our joint dedication to nurturing entrepreneurial talents across borders.

The programme kicked off with an informative introduction to the unique opportunities within Singapore's startup landscape, setting the stage for the diverse array of startups that followed. These six ambitious companies, each with a distinct vision, took the opportunity to present their business models and products to a keen audience:

  1. Little Crack captivated us with its charismatic character content brand, a testament to the creative prowess fostered by the Business School/Department of Entrepreneurship.
  2. LetinAR, from the Department of Industrial Engineering, impressed with its innovative plastic AR optics, pushing the boundaries of augmented reality.
  3. Loketrip, representing the Department of Chinese Language & Literature, introduced a streamlined business travel booking platform, poised to revolutionize the way professionals travel.
  4. Tree Mom, born from the Department of Media & Communication, shared its sustainable energy education kit subscription service, aligning perfectly with global sustainability goals.
  5. HO HO, from the Department of Education Technology, unveiled a cloud-based ERP solution for tree management, merging technology with environmental stewardship.
  6. Finally, Tax Canvas from the Department of Information System revealed their generative AI-based tax service innovation, showcasing the fusion of finance and cutting-edge technology.

The programme concluded with a mentor feedback session, where each startup received tailored advice from the mentors. This invaluable interaction provided the startups with critical insights and strategies for growth, reflective of Singapore's robust startup ecosystem and our dedication to entrepreneurial excellence.
